So, I had a baby. Another boy, this time named Ben Landis Stieger. Landis is a name from my husband's family. He's a beaut. I think we'll keep him, even if he is keeping us up at night. Here's a picture of him:

I'm a complete stranger but came across your blog doing an image search on "hero's journey."
I LOVE your blog and interests; am working hard inside my organization to show how myth and narrative are more compelling than component-model presentations on powerpoint. an uphill battle!
Anyway, i have three gorgeous kids, all grown now, and so have walked the inanna trail of having it all and then emptying out. keep writing!
